In the services of this church, like in all parishes of the evangelical-lutheran church, we proclaim that Jesus Christ is the only way to everlasting life. All members believe in the triune God Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The members of the parish live with the knowledge that their Lord Jesus Christ is present in their midst and reaches out to them in Word and Sacrament. They take power from their baptism, in which Christ has saved them into eternity without any of their own doing. From this gift, no-one is to be excluded, so baptism is given wherever possible already to infant children. In Holy Communion, through the gift of his true body and blood in the bread and wine, Christ gives the communicants intimate association with Him and strengthens their faith. Basis of all teaching and doing ist the bible as the true word of God, and the lutheran confessions like the Augsburg Confession and the Small Catechism from Martin Luther as its valid interpretation.
